Ajako Taja
AI-powered trending stories. Stay ahead. Stay informed.
Nobody has time to visit every news site, so important stories get missed. Ajako Taja follows trusted outlets across every topic it covers, finds the stories many of them are reporting, and brings them together in one place as clear, short summaries — drafted by AI, reviewed by the team before they're published, and linked to every source. “Ajako Taja” means “today's fresh news” in Nepali. Ajako Taja started at Guided Labs as an internal experiment and became a production platform.

Features
What Ajako Taja does
Many outlets, one story
AI recognises when different outlets cover the same event — even with different headlines, or in another language — and groups their reports into a single story.
Confidence scoring
Each story is scored on how many sources cover it, how consistent their reports are, how recent the coverage is, and whether they name the same people and places.
AI drafting from sources only
A language model drafts a structured article in its own words — lead, key details, background and why it matters — working only from the outlets' reports.
Human fact-check
A member of the team checks every draft against the source reports — headline, names, numbers, dates and attribution — before it is published.
Linked to every source
Every article links to the outlets it draws on, so readers can check the original reporting.
Topics you choose
Stories are tagged to topics, from News & Current Affairs and Business & Finance to Technology, Science, Sports and more. The For You feed shows only the topics a reader picks.
Data reports
Football results and fixtures, and end-of-day Nepal Stock Exchange prices, written only from the data — every number checked before an editor publishes.
Honest images
Featured images are never AI-generated and never taken from outlets: a credited free-licence stock photo, or a brand graphic rendered in code.
How it works
How Ajako Taja works
Continuous monitoring
Stories are collected from news feeds across every covered topic, every hour, and grouped by the real-world event they describe.
Confidence scoring
Scores help the team decide which stories to cover. Stories already reported by multiple outlets can be approved automatically; the team approves the rest before anything is written.
AI summarisation
A large language model drafts the article from the outlets' reports and links every source.
Human fact-check
An editor checks the draft against the sources, fixes anything that doesn't match, checks the image, and only then publishes it.
Personalised delivery
Readers choose the topics they care about and their For You feed shows only those stories.
