Ajako Taja is an AI-powered news platform built to cut through the noise. We monitor hundreds of sources, identify the stories that are genuinely trending across multiple outlets, and deliver them to you as clear, digestible summaries — continuously, around the clock.
Why we built this
We got tired of the same problem everyone has: you open your news feed and you're hit with a wall of content. Some of it is breaking, some of it is days old, and almost none of it tells you quickly why you should care.
The team at Guided Lab builds practical software for real problems. Ajako Taja started as an internal experiment — could we build a system that watches the internet in real time, recognises when multiple credible sources converge on the same story, and writes a useful summary before most human editors have even seen it?
The answer turned out to be yes. What began as a weekend prototype became a production platform covering tech, crypto, sports, global politics, entertainment, and more — with confidence scoring to ensure we only surface stories that have genuine multi-source backing, not one-off posts.
How it works
- 1Continuous monitoring — Our agents watch hundreds of RSS feeds across every niche, refreshing every hour. When multiple independent outlets start publishing on the same topic, a signal fires.
- 2Confidence scoring — We score each story on four factors: how many sources cover it, how semantically coherent those stories are, how recent the coverage is, and whether named entities (people, places, organisations) agree. Only stories above our threshold make it through.
- 3AI summarisation — A large language model reads the clustered source articles and writes a concise, accurate summary — key bullet points, a short narrative, and relevant hashtags. No hallucination: the AI works only from the source material, not general knowledge.
- 4Personalised delivery — Stories are tagged to niches. You choose the niches you care about, and your For You feed shows only those stories. Everything else stays out of your way.

Ajako Taja is our own product, not a client project. We built it because we wanted to prove that a small team from Nepal can ship a world-class, AI-native media product — and keep it running reliably at scale.
