DMCA & Content Removal Policy

How to notify us of copyright infringement and how we respond. We take intellectual property seriously and handle every notice promptly.

Last updated: June 1, 2026

1. Our Commitment to Copyright Compliance

Guided Lab Private Limited respects intellectual property rights and expects the same from everyone who uses Ajako Taja. We follow the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar copyright law in other jurisdictions.

If you believe content on Ajako Taja infringes your copyright, you can submit a formal takedown notice as described below. We take every notice seriously and respond promptly.

We also acknowledge that our AI pipeline may occasionally surface content in ways that exceed fair use. If you think that's happened, please reach out — we're committed to resolving issues in good faith, and a direct email often gets things sorted faster than a formal notice.

2. Before You File

To submit a valid notice, you must be the copyright owner or an authorized representative. Before filing, consider:

  • Is the content actually protected by copyright? Facts, ideas, and publicly available data generally are not.
  • Is our use covered by fair use? Brief excerpts used for commentary, summarization, or news reporting often qualify.
  • Are we merely referencing a third-party source rather than reproducing your content?
  • Could we resolve this informally first? Email us at contact@guidedlab.com — most attribution or excerpt issues are quick to fix.

We recommend starting with a direct email. For most disputes, we can resolve things quickly without formal proceedings.

3. Required Notice Elements

A valid DMCA notice must include all of the following:

Required elements

  • Your full legal name and contact information (address, email, phone number).
  • A clear description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
  • The specific URL(s) on Ajako Taja where the allegedly infringing content appears. General descriptions are not sufficient.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law.
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Materially incomplete notices cannot be processed. Submitting a false or misleading notice may expose you to legal liability under applicable law.

4. How to Submit

Send your completed notice by one of the following methods:

Email (preferred)

Email: contact@guidedlab.com

Subject line: DMCA Takedown Notice — [brief description]

Email is checked on every business day and is the fastest method.

Postal mail

Designated DMCA Agent

Guided Lab Private Limited

Attn: DMCA / Copyright Agent

Postal notices are processed more slowly. Use email for time-sensitive matters.

5. Our Response Process

Once we receive a valid notice:

Timeline

  • Acknowledgment within 2–3 business days of a complete notice.
  • Initial review within 5 business days.
  • If we determine the content infringes, we'll disable access or remove it within 10 business days.
  • We'll notify the user whose content was removed, where applicable.
  • We'll confirm the action taken to the claimant.

Possible outcomes

  • Content removed if we conclude it infringes.
  • Content retained if it's covered by fair use, the attribution is correct, or the notice is materially deficient.
  • Partial action — removing specific elements (e.g., an image) while retaining others.
  • Referral to the content poster to allow counter-notification.

We don't guarantee removal of all reported content and reserve the right to exercise independent judgment consistent with applicable law.

6. Counter-Notification Process

If your content was removed following a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was in error — because the content is covered by fair use, you hold the rights, or the notice was mistaken — you may submit a counter-notification.

Counter-notice requirements

Your counter-notification must include:

  • Your full name, address, email, and phone number.
  • Identification of the specific material that was removed and its URL before removal.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant court.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

  • We forward your counter-notification to the original claimant.
  • The claimant has 10–14 business days to notify us they've filed a court action.
  • If we receive no such notice, we may restore the removed content at our discretion.
  • If the claimant pursues legal action, the matter becomes one between you and the claimant.

Send counter-notifications to contact@guidedlab.com with the subject line "DMCA Counter-Notification."

7. Repeat Infringer Policy

We will terminate accounts of users determined to be repeat copyright infringers. This is assessed case by case, based on:

  • The number of valid DMCA notices received about a user's submissions.
  • Whether the user responded to prior takedowns and stopped the activity.
  • The nature and severity of the infringements.
  • Whether counter-notifications were filed and upheld.

8. Good Faith & Misuse

We process every notice in good faith. Please do the same. A few important points:

  • Filing a DMCA notice knowing the content doesn't actually infringe may expose you to liability for damages and legal fees.
  • DMCA notices should not be used to suppress legitimate commentary, criticism, or news reporting.
  • We reserve the right to decline notices we believe are submitted in bad faith or for improper purposes.
  • Abusive use of our DMCA process may be reported to appropriate authorities.
